Hostal  Barrera  is  located  in  the  historic  and  architectural  important  part  of  Madrid, in  the  area  called  The  Walk  of  Art  at  the  confluence  of  the  main  museums  of Spain:  Prado  Museum,  Thyssen - Bornemisza  Museum  and  Reina  Sofia  National  Art  Museum.

 A few  steps  from Hostal Barrera, Atocha  Railway  Station  from  where you can get to Toledo, El Escorial, Sevilla or Cordoba.

Also the  traditional places of Madrid such as  Plaza  Mayor,  Puerta  del  Sol , Puerta de Alcala, Retiro Park and  so  on..

¿ How  to  get  to  Hostal  Barrera  from  the  airport ?

 By  metro: Line  8 till  Nuevos  Ministerios stop  where  you  move  to  line  10  untill  in  Tribunal  stop   you  move   to   line  1 till  Antón Martin. You   get   off   the   metro  and  you   are   in   Atocha   st.  This   will   take   you  35   minutes.   metro map

 By  bus: From  the  airport  to  Avenida de America  where you  take  the  metro, Line 6 ( grey line ) to Pacifico and then move to Line 1( sky blue)  to Anton Martin  where you get off and then you are in Atocha  st.   Just  walk  few  metres  down  the  hill  and  you  will  find  us  on  the  right  side  of  the  street.

 By  taxi: The  price  depends  on  the  way  to  get  here  and  the  time.  Anyway,  the  price  shoudn´t  be  more  than  22  or  25 €. 

At  the  metro  you  can  buy  a  ticket  for  metro  and  bus  which  price  is  6,15 €,  or  just  one   way  ticket  which  price  is  1 € .
